NOTICE OF INTENTION TO APPLY FOR WAIVERS OF STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION RULES AND/OR SCHOOL CODE MANDATES FOR NEW HOPE CCSD #6

A PUBLIC HEARING to receive comments regarding a proposed

application for waiver of State Board Rules and/or School Code

Mandates for New Hope Community Consolidated School District #6,

County of Wayne, State of Illinois, will be held at the regular monthly

Board of Education meeting at New Hope Grade School on December 18,

2013 at 6:00 p.m. Any person desiring to present testimony to the Board

of Education may do so at that time.

A brief description of the proposed waiver follows. It is for a period of

five years, beginning with the start of the 2014-2015 school year.

A waiver to allow the children of full-time employees who do

not reside in the District to attend New Hope Community

Consolidated School without the requirement to pay tuition.
