100th Day!

Estaleda Griffith celebrated her 100th birthday today with us at New Hope School while students were also celebrating the 100th day of school this year. Her son, Gary, daughter-in-law, and care givers brought her. Children made her cards and sang to her. Then all ate cake and ice cream. She taught 1st grade here many years until her husband made her retire at age 65. She also served as interim superintendent from March 22, 1975 to June 30, 1975.
